I'm pretty depressed that the month is over because I finished 1/5 of my monthly goals, I guess playing no online poker in the past 2 weeks is my excuse, I'm still annoyed though.

The month wasn't too bad for live poker, I didn't have any losing sessions, but I had 3 break-even sessions, one +200 session and a +40 session of HU against a massive donkey. Online I was break-even for the turbo SNGs, down about $50 for the $11 SNGs, up about $130 for the $5.50 45 person MTTs and down about $80 in cash games after only like 3K hands.

I'm noticing a pattern, I feel like I'm a break-even player online, I'm a winner in live NL cash and a break-even live tournament player.

f*ck pokerstars! Once I get a computer I will deposit $500 on Party Poker, I e-mailed them yesterday asking if I could have a redeposit bonus and they offered 20% up to $100, so that seems pretty good b/c party boni are easy to clear. $500 will give me a good bankroll for Nl25 so hopefully the rumors about PP's easy-killability...

This is a sad day for online poker and my life.


I was helplessly minding my own business, sleeping late into the afternoon as usual when I hear awful and strange noises coming from my computer. They sounded like really insense clicks and whirrs. I was annoyed and tired so I went over to it and turned it off so I could do my best to sleep off this chest-cold that I'm dealing with.

A couple hours later I got out of bed and attempted to turn on my laptop. I am faced with a blank screen and more loud clicks and whirrs, and nothing is loading. I go into setup, attempt to do a HDD scan, and 10% into the test it says my disk in unreadable and immediately shuts off.

So basically I no longer have a computer. Right now I'm typing on my brother's Mac, but I obv. wont be able to use it to play poker...

March Silver Star... a hundread $11 SNGs, 5K hands of NL25... none of these goals are possible and I honestly don't know when I'll be able to get back on my feet to play poker again.

I set out to play 100 of the $6.50 turbos this month and I finished them today. The month started out really bad thru one day of mega-tilting and some not very good luck, but mostly just tilt.

I've been in the red for the whole month in turbos until today when I made a mad dash in the last 7 tournaments with 4 wins, 2 seconds, and only one bubble. Although regardless, I was only up about $10 in total :P

I'm glad that I broke even. I feel pretty confidant that these tournaments could be used to make good money if I played well and ran regularily, so if I still continue to tread water with my bankroll by burning profits and never cashing in MTTs I'll probably aim to play another 100 of these next month. Although to be honest, if I haven't moved up by that point I'll be pretty depressed. I still have quite a lot of money...

Weird. Yesterday I made a speculatory blog about how I was actually gonna run goot today, and it came true. I only played in 10 different tournaments and <100 hands of cash game. But today for the first time ever after like 2 months and many attempts I won a $5.50 45 person SNG. Most of the 45 person tournaments I played were the $6.50 turbos, and if I know what's good for me I'll stop playing them b/c it's infinitely easier to cash/final table/win the 10 minute blind tournaments rather than the 5 min structure.

Played 2 $11 SNGs, made 2nd and 8th. Played 3 $6.50 turbo SNGs, made 2nd 4th and 9th (busted 3rd hand, AA to 7-2, who re-raised PF and flopped 2 pair on Q-7-2 flop... oops so much for not 4-betting).

I played the $5 rebuy 25K GTD, I idiotically busted in about 550th (450 get teh monies), I literally won a single hand in the rebuy period, so I basically had my $15 worth of chips, like 7,5K. I was pretty short stacked for most of the tournament. I had about 18K chips when...
