still learningThe more I play the more I realize I don't know how to play.
God I love the players in the micro limits. Most of my sessions are still winning ones and I'm now sitting with $300, but I'm still barely average player. I still go bust with TPTK or even worse, TPGK. I still find it very hard to fold OverPairs, but at least I manage to fold J's and Q's when the board has overs (though I still have problems folding those PF) Most of the pots I win are me raising big PF with good hands or good position, then C-bet take it down. When people to tend to stick I manage to value bet them to SD. I also rediscovered S&G. I finally back in positive profit (though my ROI% is on 0) Manage to donk it down to almost -$50 but now am sitting on $13 profit 73 games. My main profit comes from 6 people $5+0.50 S&G. I also almost always cash at the 9 people player, but by the time that gets to 3 player it is usually a lottery due to the blinds / stacks ratio. ... Started the month pretty good, then donked off more then half my stack ($100) The last few days were good for me. Though I now see more flop , I easily fold when I before called. 2nd bullet, TPWK and sometimes even TPTK are not that strong in my eyes any more, and I will fold them to aggression. I've also managed to do quite well in S&G and been running pretty hot lately. FullTilt 9 players S&G are extrimly tight though. In most all players are still in by level 6 and they always take more then an hour. But I still stick to being tight those levels (even folded Q's the first hand) and I change gears once the blinds hit 80-100. Its amazing how most players don't understand the way to play when your M is small. I see players limp with 3 blinds or less :) Any way, finally mange to get to over $200. which means I'm even since my last deposit (still $330 down from previous deposits) and... They say the first step is admitting the problem, so here I am. I came to the conclusion that I am officially one of those Fish or Donk we all talk and laugh about. I decided to create a 12 step program to fight this addiction, or sickness if you will. Step 1 - tighten the F up. A. No more seeing the flop with rags. B. No more betting with rags or calling with rags. C. No more trying to steal small pots. D. No going busto with TPTK. E: No fancy play. Today decide to play an S&G - my win rate lately was nowhere to be found. opened a cash table at the same time and simple only played Premium hands. Am talking about 7 flop seen out of 42 hands. First hand I played AKo from EP. LP call , SS BB calls Flop a little scary : ATJ rainbow BB min bet. I raise 3/4 pot. LP fold. BB push for less then half my bet. I'm priced to call and his K's never improve Built up my stack about 20XBB more - mainly... Been officially addicted to this game since I first encounter it on TV about a year ago. It took me about 6 month until I half settled some where and got internet connection and one of the first thing I did was look for a place to play online. After killing the play money, especially the short S&G decided its time for me to step up and chase that dream. Made my first deposit end of June, 2006. To make a long story less boring lets just say that since the first min deposit, I made 4 more. Some vanished quicker then others. My last and fifth deposit was at the end of the year - so now I'm €430 invested in this new passion of mine. Been working like a dog the last 4 month of the year so I guess I can afford it. And now, since the beginning of the new year I have lots of time on my hand and I play 5-6 hours a day, so my addiction as finally became an obsession. My modest goals are : 1. No go busto any more. 2. ... [ Continued ] 0 Comments Viewed 3 times |
