Blog Subject:  My poker history

I started on July 2006 after seeing poker on Euro-Sport (go figure)
My first month I played Play money and killed the SNG's.

Deposited my first $50 and lost it within a week or so playing $10NL... From then until the end of the year I manged to deposit and lose a total of $310.

In the end of 2006 I opened an account at FT with rakeback deposited my last $110 (I really didn't want to throw more money on this hobby) and start building a BR killing the $2 and the $5 SNG's.

Then in March we had to move and stayed for 3 month in an apartment where we couldn't have an internet connection. So being the junky that I was, I started going to internet bars to feed my addiction.
In that period I started playing the $10 SNGs with very poor results.
Then I discovered Omaha PLO and managed to built a $1000ish BR from that. Playing mainly $25PLO and some $50PLO. However my good run had finished, and $50PLO was way to aggressive to my liking so started playing NL Holdem again. This time $50NL. ...

Blog Subject:  My HU vs JJ Liu

Complete HH.
Over all I'm pleased with the way I played.
I let her push me around in the beginning and lost a biggish pot when she flopped a baby flush against my TP. Probably should have blocked/fold the river on that one.

I made one very hard AI call with K4 on a K high scary flop which ended in a chop. Might have been a bad call as well.

And one two street bluff that didn't work.
I gave only one major suckout when my K8 out flopped her KQ (AI PF)

Any comments are welcome.
I had lots of fun playing this one.

Blog Subject:  My Bonus whoring report

Since I managed to built a decent BR on Fulltilt and since I got my self a new mac that can run windows I decided it is time to start chasing those bonus everyone is talking about.

Took $550 out and wanted to test the waters.

1ST site : Deposited $100 on Interpoker.
Stupid idea. $100 is not enough to play in my normal game ($50NL). Also, it was very hard to find more then a couple of table of the same game on Inter, so I found my self sitting in Limit games, full ring and all kind of mixed levels.
Played badly in the games I'm not familiar with and managed to cash $140 (bonus included)

My next stop was pokerroom. Deposited $350 for a $100 bonus plus 5 books from 2+2.
Did a little better and cashed out $657 after 30 hours of play and 5600 hands.
Hated the client though. Key commands are great but due due to the fact that active table jump to the top regardless of the action I often folded where I meant to call or even worse, min raised where I meant to fold.
Also, I got timed...

Blog Subject:  first time a little sick from poker

Its my first time I feel a little sick after a poker session. Granted, I'm almost 6 buyins down. But thats not the only reason.
Its a combination of tilting and running slightly bad.
First - Top set run into an OESD+FD. I lead , he min raise I push ($70 into $12 pot) He calls and turn a flush.

Second - UTG raise with KJo (6max) 2 callers. Flop mono J high pot. giving me top pair + K high FD.
I bet, EP raise and SB calls. I decide to push (2 buyins+) both call. EP with the nut and SB with the baby flush.

Other then that my $100 project doesn't go real well :
Day 5 : +$50
Day 6 : -$40 (short session)
Day 7 : +$20
Day 8 : +$120
Day 9 : -$150

Day 10 is today and am currently -$300.... ouch.

On a side noted, on day 5 and 7 I was actually $150 up at one point of the day...

Can poker be a source of income for me?

Blog Subject:  Days 3 and 4

I'll keep it short.
Day 3 first session took me down to $830.
But I did manage to finish the day back at $1030

day 4 I managed to stay even most of the day, drop down to around $1000.
But did manage to finish up with $1130 due to 2 big hands in the end of the day.

Day 3 :
BR $1030
Day profit : $30

Day 4:
BR $1130
Day profit : $100
