Another big session.....

Nothing really happened in this session really. I had a few tough beats, but in general I didn't really flop any big hands that got paid off. The one I did was with quads v a flush draw which was cool, but apart from that a real uneventful day pretty much.

I played 3 tournaments today.

£50 15k GTD on Crypto, got 88, called a small raise, flop comes KT8, I check, bet from pf raiser, guy calls I call.

Turn I decide to lead out on a blank, guy raises other guy cold calls. Hmmm, I go all in and looking to treble up, they both call.

One has AA, the other KT, river is a K and I am out.

Played a platinum freeroll on Stars and went out when the blinds got high.

Played some 3k GTD and didn't do anything.

There are two tournaments that I want to play tomorrow. I really wanna get up for the Stars THP tourney thingy we have going on tomorrow, I should be ok, it's in 11 and half hours.

The other one is some $50k added $33 at 5pm on crypto. I...

2356 hands logged today

Wow, that was some f*cking session I had there. I played about 10 or so hours straight and it has really killed me.

So, what happened yesterday? Well, I played around 2k hands yesterday and had a shitty day.

I couldn't really hit a thing, the big pairs werent really holding up and i found myself down a few buyins at omaha.

I wasn't playing that great yesterday, but it was quite a few beats, and hands notholding up like all in with KK v a flush draw and them hitting and so on.

I was chipleader in a tourney, and promptly went out OTM with some sickly hands not holding up but oh well, on to today.

So this was by far my biggest session ever. I really felt in the zone today and I didn't realise how drained I was till I stopped playing.

I feel a stats post coming up soon, but until then I will give you a bit of an update on what happened today.

There were a significant amount of 2nd best hands today, for example trips v trips w higher kicker and the most notable beat...

I had the goodness

Ok today I was running sickly good.

I have a hand to discuss as well, which is good.

I didn't get as many hands in as I usually do (only 1k, hah!) but because I was on a very big upswing, I decided to just get some dinner and just take this time to chill out a bit. I have been playing a LOT of poker.

Right ok, I will give you a brief summary of how it went and then on to some hand analysis.

There was only one NL100 table going so I decided to jump on a PL100 table, first hand I pick up TT9x in the post, so I checked. Flop came 68T with about 4 limpers.

I had position and a guy leads at the pot, a few callers, so I call, turn is a blank and the guy leads out for the pot again, everyone calls, so I gotta call with top set, even though I am 100% behind here. The river brings my house and I triple up.

That was the start of the PLO madness. So I cracked a straight and this guy was on mega tilt, and it seemed like everyone was. The pots were pretty much always getting raised...

With the smooth comes the rough

Another 1500 hands today, it didn't go too well.

Today was the day of dead cards while yesterday was the day of second best hands.

It was the real grind today. I didn't play as many hands as I usually do, but I was a bit pre occupied with other things. I had a real long chat with a friend that I haven't spoken to in a year, that was cool.

So here are a few hands to note.

They don't really deserve a pokerhand.

I made a bad bluff in an omaha hand when I missed like a gajillion outs and he had a straight.

I made a bad call with TT against KK, trying to push him off his hand.

I had to lay down QQ on the flop to an obvious KK/AA.

I got AK a few times, raised, and it was popped back another 14 or so bb, so I folded.

I played a little 1/2 SHL, best hand I saw was TT twice in a row, both got beat. I also flopped a set in this game and got runner runnered.

I had AA and KK cracked today as well. I also flopped quads with TT and got a bit of dough back.

I...

Quick update

Permanent Linkby crack on Sun Jul 30, 2006 8:59 pm GMT

Today I played 1.7k hands at NL100.

Overall it went well. Playing for double the money doesn't phase me at all, I have played a lot higher than this.

One hand earlier today, I made a really silly call just with A high on a T high flop. This guy was tilting and very aggro. I knew pot bets indicated weakness, and I missed the raise, he had a small PP and I doubled up.

It aid dividends playing against him for so long though because I was able to call down every street knowing he was weak. I have AA and raise pf, he is in the BB.

He is the only caller and bets pot on a weak board, I call, turn blank he bets pot, I call. River he goes all in and I hope this wasn't the time he had a hand, I called and stacked him. He had bottom pair.

He rebought and we done the same thing except I had a set. For an aggro player he was easy to push around.

I cracked aces twice today for big pots, and thats probably about it. There wasn't really anything else exciting that happened, except...
