While its fresh in memory I thought I'd post on my tourney so far in the $55k tonight, I had 5,000 after the first break lol but played alot of hands and got lucky with some kind flops a few times to amass a nice stack. Then once I had a nice stack comparative to the blinds I just played my game and my stack hadn't looked back , I picked up AA and got a fish to re pop all in with AJ, and my pair and flush draw defeated top pair all in on the flop so things were going well. Then just now, I had 9-9 I raised it up ep, the sb called me. It came out K-2-3, he checked , I also did. Turn another K,he bet out minimum, I made it 3 x his bet, and he min riased, I didnt think too long and flat called it figuring I could be beat, but he could put me on air here and have a smaller pp , river Q, and He fired hard, so I beleived him and folded.

Very next hand , I get QQ and raise again, someone calls (ss) and a 80,000 stack shoves, I had made it 6,500 to go and had him covered,I decided to call quite...

Well, I moved in properly to my new place today.3 of us at our place at the moment,3 more to come in september but right now I am focusing on the poker now I am settled in. I have played a bit before my trip to benaccasim and things weren't going great but forget that, its a new start now, I am willing to change my game , willing work at it , do whatever it takes to start winning alot.

I know my talent lies in tournaments so for the moment I will be playing them, I have also got a nice board on my wall which I will be using to pin my day to day winnings/losses' which I think will give me a good indication of how I actually am faring at this game. So, I ll play a few mtts tonight, see how it goes.

I entered several mtts tonight,I don't like stars but after cashin in the million and again in the nightly i had some funds still in there, and im a fool for tournaments even though I dont win them.

So I entered a $100 f/o . busted out 99 vs AK. Fair enuf ya know. Race.

this $27 fo I busted pushin 9s again, this time into Ks. Whatever. I dont mind, small mtt buy in one.

But the nightly, I am pissed about, I amassed a sound 6,000 withblinds at 75/150, when a big stack just moved in from early position. I found J J in mid /late. So I dwelled and dwelled, and finally thought that unless its a misclick, it smells like QQ hopin someone or ss calls with lower pair or AK and will take a race, rather then face playin oop. So I think I made a wise decision and passed my Jacks.The button insta called and they showed QQ for the raiser, and KK the button. I would have hit a J, which I felt was a bit of a pisstake, since I think few people could make the fold I had. But whatever. I didnt lose...

Aint really been playing last 2 days bar a satelite and since I am not planning on playin any mtts seriously lately, I thought maybe I should devote some time to online satelites, for live events and for the big pokerstars mtts. like the sunday million.

I just finished 2 and finalled one but only got $35, my A-10 suited lost against 8-8 then my K-7 suited lost vs 35 so I $25 profit but nothing really and busted 2nd on the 1st table in the other , this guy was the luckiest heads up player i met , had no shot at all honest.


But I reckon If I stick with these satelites, maybe I could get alot of $T so I wouldn't mind losing since its not my money, and with EPT Barcelona satelites runnning too, I will give them a shot.


Well, I really should go sleep, been up all night still. Hard routine to get out of when you are very awake during the night cos you slept all day. eh eh eh.

After some thought and a lot of bad results lately (mainly due to being shit at showdowns) but i ll keep the whining to a minimum this time guys :)

I have decided it would be smart for me to take a break from online poker. I have never taken one properly before and I think it will do me good. I dont feel my game is bad, I think I am hitting my peak , and the bad streak i am on if anything has taught me how to play better with adversity. But I have to be realistic, I cant play everyday if I am going to lose.


So I will take abreak, maybe I will play the odd mtt once a week online or twice but nothing significant. I will definitely still post on thp as I want to keep thinking poker obviously. And I am a pro now , so I should still be looking to improve.

I feel I am much better suited to live play, and I will be moving into a new flat early august when I will have the chance to play live. Till then, I can work out ,chill at home , I have a week trip to spain lined up in a few...
