Well, its been an eventful day , I made $200 playin cash for an hour, satelited into pl omaha wcoop 3, but unregistered, gonna use it for wcoop hold em event 1. And I played a horse mtt and pl omaha hi/lo mtt. Still playin 2 hold em ones at mo, but just messin about tryin out some different styles.

The horse, I busted out liek 60th, I had a flush in stud, and ran into a boat. Meh.

The pl omaha hi/lo I had A-9-6-6 on a A-9-5 board, I got it in against 2 ppl who had 3-4 and river came 2. Sigh. I was in good shape till river. Ah well,both fun.

I played live tonight at casino for 1st time this week, had AsKs vs AA (was committed preflop), lose 9-9 vs AQd, for 50% my stack, then was dealt crap for 4 hands before i thought f*ck it ,and shoved blind,for 3,400 with bb at 600, somone had A7 and beat my J-2. Eh .

Yesterday and today I've really come to understand a whole new meaning of grinder, I mean I am one before last 2 days but I dont multi table more then 1 mtt, and I dont tend to sit and play like 11 hours straight online.

Yesterday and today I did it, I have dropped down limits for the moment till i build up some cash on stars and am playing different type mtts. Yesterday I played a horse mtt, top 6 pay, i came 7th.

I played another mtt or 2 and despite playing well no result. I made $200 or so in cash games which funded some mtts tho.

Today, I sat and played 4 mtts roughly at same time, a Pl $10 rebuy Omaha, 18 pay, I came 32nd I think. Didn't have loads of chips had nut flush draw vs a set and lost.

Played an $8 rebuy, 135 pay, 200 or so left, I raised AK, got 1 call ,then button pushed, I decided to take a shot knowing that If I won this ,I'd be in good shape to do something, the caler called too which made me worried for a second, but they had JJ and QQ. I thought nice,...

It just won't end, I just can't win a showdown the last few weeks, I didnt play online during the week, played at casino mostly and got no results.

Today's big sunday mtts, I really cant afford just buying in willynilly but I played a $8 satelite for Sunday Million, got through it. Then Aelred said earlier he'd stake me for 50% of the winnings on crypto's big 40k sunday mtt. I then took one shot and bought in myself for the Warm up. So 3 mtts, and me focused, I should have a shot I thought. I woke up around 8am, ate, chilled out, had a shower , watched some tv, kept my mind off poker till the mtts started.

Warm up starts and early on I get AK suited, late position, ep brought it in for 700 I recall, with blinds only at 100/200, I could haver re raised but didnt want to take a coin flip if he had QQ,JJ so i flat called. FLop was a nice J-5-8 (2h) I had AKh, he led out for 1k, which was about 1/2 pot. I made it 3,500 and he moved in on me, I insta called obviously and he had 5-6h....

Well, I just returned from the casino from which has been 3 consecutive days and no Ft's. I finished 18th on monday when my J J was no good vs Q J. Last night was amateur night and my ss AJ was no good vs QQ. Cue tonight - its a sound structure with 5,000 chips and 2 possibly rebuys or addon. I was down to 2,500 shortly after a draw missed and I rebought to get up to 7,500. I managed to stack a shorter stack then mine when my Qc 6c limp on button found A Q 6 flop. He had A-J, and I took his 4,000 stack.

I was up to around 12,500 then when I had Kd5d in late, I limped in after 2 limpers, button came in and the flop came Ks 10d 4d. A great flop, they check I lead 900 into around 1400 , button made it 2,900. He had me covered, I thought to myself I'm beat here for sure, but I have another rebuy, and I have a monster hand with 2 cards to come. Say he has KJ, or something in that region, if i shove maybe he ll fold and even if he calls im in sound shape to take a massive pot and be...

Been a bit ill last few days, cough,sore throat etc. So I've not been playing much poker, I entered 1 mtt on betfair other night and finished 18th, doubling my buyin...And I've been putting in the odd hour here and there in the cash games. Pot Limit Omaha $100 and $200. Pretty cool though, only deposited sunday and I've turned my meagre £70 into over £600 now, so its been a good week on there so far for me.

I'm heading home later today to spend few days with family, probably come back thursday , play the live competition for kicks.

Even though its been a good week relative to the hours I've put in I've remembered a lesson I shouldn't have forgot over the last month....poker is very much a grind. Been tough month or 2 for me, but I aint planning on leaving or anything, just remember the old days when I would play the odd live mtt and final table like its breathing.......Eh.
