Homegame tournament tonight, 10 dollar rebuy, 5th of 8, blech, but played well. Steamrolled early on, having played with these guys long enough that I can read them pretty well. Decent stack.

Key hands:
Ac7c in MP, one limper, i limp, two more call behind me, SB completes BB checks, flop QcJcTc. Err...nice. SB checks, BB bets pot of 50, I call, one other limper calls. Turn 5h, BB IMMEDIATELY pushes all in, I call, other folds, flips Q5. River 5s seals the deal, 4 outed, whatever, it's still the rebuy period, only about 200 left at this point with blinds at 10/20. Looking to bust or double, but it doesn't happen until last hand of rebuy period when I put my last 250 in knowing I'm behind so I could rebuy and have the full 1000 again. We do sort of a weird rebuy where you need to bust to be able to buy back in, not just have less the starting stack. Meh.

Work the stack back up to about 2000, interesting hand. 5 handed at this point, blinds 30/60 I believe, look down at Ad4d...

Withdrawals from Interpoker and Totalbet went through, giving me a little over 950 to play with. After attempting to sign up with Gaming Club but needing to wait for them to get back to me about rakeback, I just decided to throw 750 into Absolute for their 100% match bonus. Nice seeing 1500 in the account, even if I don't have it yet. 200 into the bank account, since my earlier problems with poker have been explosive bankroll growth, leaving no money for myself, and having psychological trouble dealing with higher limits, even if I was financially set for them.

Short session, 3 tables, two 1/2, 1 2/4, cleared the necessary 100 points for 10 bucks in about an hour. 100 points for 10=7500 points for 750, 100 points per hour=75 hours. Blech. Maybe once I break 1000, I'll do 3 or 4 tables of 2/4 to accelerate the process. Nothing too spectacular to note, down 24 at 1/2, up 37 at 2/4. I hate 1/2. More tonight perhaps. Lookit me! I'm updating!

So...poker blog. I've meant to have one for quite some time, but never felt like putting the effort to sign up at a site and keep it updated. Going through THP makes it a bit easier, so maybe I'll keep up. Or not. Don't expect anything spectacular, I'm a pretty boring guy. I may rundown my whole history with poker soon enough, partially for myself to recap what I've done and where I've been with poker for the past three-ish years, and to provide what I'm sure will be a superbly entertaining coming of age tale.

For now, bonus whoring going well, cleared nearly 1 grand in the past two weeks, about half bonus money and *gasp* half me winning! Huzzah. Haven't seen this kind of poker-related dough since January, so it feels pretty good. Here's to hoping it'll continue.
