The hit to be squareJust played two hours on the $0.10-$0.25 NL cash tables.
Started with £25, and it gradually dropped to $11. then within five minutes I took it back to $18 with a few lucky breaks. I then limp with KT. Flop comes 44K and I bet for value. I get one caller. Next card is nothing, I bet half the pot he calls. The river is another king and I push all-in. Other guy writes "Dam river", yet still calls and I double up. So, I'm up $7 and about to leave the table when I get dealt QQ. (The hand is posted on the forum, so I won't tell you the outcome for a few days.) The upshot is, depending on this hand, my bankroll is either $65 up for 4 hours or about even. 0 Comments Viewed 3 times It's not time to make a change, just relax, take it easyOk. Time is still the main factor. I don't have any.
However, what poker I have played I'm really enjoying. Played around 2x1 hour sessions in total on the $0.10-$0.25 NL cash tables and won $24 exactly. Had a great hand the day before last. I posted it on the forum. The hand was pretty insignificant, it was the 'chat' that got me going. I accumilated in me wiping out his (small) stack and actually falling of my chair laughing. It's entitled "Ok, so I acted a tosser, but it still made me laugh out loud". I assume you guys in the states know what the word "tosser" means??? Anyway, I'm off to bed. 180 seater sng’s = -$26.40, 9 & 45 seater sng’s = $0, cash tables = $24 1 Comment Viewed 2 times Celebrate good times,.....come on!Went on my Brother-in-laws to be stag do (bachelor party) on Saturday.
The weekend started Friday night with a home game aroud my house. I finished 2nd in the first game and first in the second. I also nearly cleared a bottle of Southern Comfort. I made two posts on the forum as well. Didn't realise I'd done that until I had a casual look saturday morning. How I got on to the question of Rednecks I don't know!!! Saturday afternoon we went to Bournmouth-(South coast of England). We had a game of crazy golf and each put £1 in the pot for the winner. I ended up the overall winner and picked up £7!!!! (I think the national press wanted print my photo next to Nadal's and Hamilton's, but I declined!) We then went to the casino for a meal and entered the £20 ($40) freezeout. 44 entered and I finished 10th for my money back. I started well but messed up in the middle stages for not attacking enough. It also didn't help that I ended up with the tourny's three big stacks on my table... That may be your opinion and yes, you are probably right, but that won’t stop me moving to my new idea which I think I will call ‘Plan B’.
If I was to say my initial plan wasn’t feasible it would be a lie, but the idea needs to be adapted slightly mainly for 2 main reasons.; 1.The idea was to play nothing but 180 seater sng’s and larger MTT's. I knew this meant I wasn’t going to play very often (because I need 3hr+ min per time) and when I did play there would be long periods of losing games, but I am finding times where I could of played an hour here-or-there and I’m ending up not playing at all. Therefore I’m kinda shooting myself in the foot. 2.I’m not doing too well at work, therefore I need to earn some extra cash. So, ‘Plan B’ is; 1. Play more cash games, 2. Play more 9 & 45 seater sng’s, 3. Keep a tally of my success. 180 seater sng’s = -$26.40, 9 & 4... [ Continued ] 0 Comments Viewed 2 times Dirty cash I want you.Not off to the best start. I played six $4 180 seater sng’s over the weekend (as my wife was away).
Never got close to the money. On game two, I build up a stack of around 6,500 quite soon. I was on the BB with AQ and the button raises. I think this is a move on the pot and re-raise. He calls. The flop comes AQT, I check-raise him all-in, he automatically calls and shows AT. The turn is a T and I lose around 5,000. Then it was just a matter of holding on and hoping-I didn’t last long. The other major talking point was game 5. I lasted 2 hands. Hand one I have KK, raise preflop, then make a weak bet on the flop and turn, get suspicious that there’s still someone with me, check the river and lose to a straight. On the second hand I get dealt AA, push all-in and lose to a 89 offsuit. On all the other games, I think I’m waiting too long before attacking. My M is dropping to around 5 before I start pushing all-in and I think I would probably be better off only letting it dro... [ Continued ] 0 Comments Viewed 2 times |
