The hit to be square

Permanent Linkby jimmer on Sat Jul 12, 2008 10:05 am GMT

Just played two hours on the $0.10-$0.25 NL cash tables.

Started with £25, and it gradually dropped to $11. then within five minutes I took it back to $18 with a few lucky breaks.

I then limp with KT. Flop comes 44K and I bet for value. I get one caller. Next card is nothing, I bet half the pot he calls. The river is another king and I push all-in. Other guy writes "Dam river", yet still calls and I double up.

So, I'm up $7 and about to leave the table when I get dealt QQ. (The hand is posted on the forum, so I won't tell you the outcome for a few days.)

The upshot is, depending on this hand, my bankroll is either $65 up for 4 hours or about even.

Good things come to those who wait!
