Yeah so i'm back at university or "college" as you yanks and canadians say. Been pretty awesome really, but i wont delve into the depths of my depravity. That whole sng quest thing is dead, lol no way i can be f*cked doing that shit... went to the casino on sunday for the £30 freezout, ciso met me there and we decided to exchange 10%, if one of us won that would be about £60 for the other, nothing big really just a bit of fun. Ciso busted out fairly early when his AK couldnt beat 99. I was pretty fortunate in that i had a table full of bad players only 2 of them i knew and one was v tight and the other was a worthy adversary; he knew when it was time to gamble which is a huge edge in this competition. I built my stack up slowly never making large raises preflop and never really gambling; with my table i really did not think gambling was a good idea... when i can take many pots and get alot of value on my nice hands. Any way heres an intresting hand: i have AQ in late pos, i have about 5.5k in chips (started with 5k) and i raise it to 550 (BB is 200) BB calls and flop comes 7 8 2 he checks, i decided to check too... turn comes 8 he checks, i check river comes 10 and he bets half the pot... i call fast and he flips over 6 10 suited.. i really did want him to bet the river on this one so when i checked the turn i shook my head a little and tapped the table like i really wish i had hit. I was doing things like this the whole mtt and it was gaining me lots of extra little pots and value here and there. I look up at the clock and we are down to 13 players and im sitting in about 4th place with about 35k, blinds 1.5k 3k. 2 more people die and we down to 11. nobody busts for a long time
blinds increase to 2k 4k .... sum1 in early moves in for about 30k, im still hovering around 30k and i call it all in with QQ he has 10 10 and he makes runner runner straight to kill me on the bubble. The sick thing is some prik who had been forced all in by the blinds on 3 occasions made the final and i didnt... and he shouted on the flop of 8 J 2 "straight" turn came 7 then river 9. I could really never shout that out on that flop.. really wierd. eh its a nice homecoming to the card club even if a little annoying to bubble again. I had very good record last time i was playing here was good to be back
