Yes, I have still been playing 6-max 25PLO to up my skills, and I'm still doing reasonably well in the game, despite the inherent variance in the game.

I made one costly laydown with a wheel on an A-3-4-5-5 board. With a PSB and a call on the end, I had to give someone credit for a boat or 6-high straight. Nope, winning hand is AJxx. Poo. Also, had a chance to win a 400 BB pot with a double flush draw + gutshot on the turn, but I whiffed the river. Also, couldn't win AAxx vs AAxx all-in preflop despite the fact that I flopped the NFD as well (he rivered two small pair). There was another 270 BB pot. C'est la vie. On the positive side, I won a 300 BB pot with the nut flush where I was basically forced to call down in a multiway pot. Also, as I posted in Bad Beats, I resucked a one-outter quads against a guy who one-outted me on the turn with lower quads. That was a fun hand.

Overall, I'm up a little more than 5 BI the last two days, plus another $25 from Triple Draw. The PS roll is going up, I might GoldStar this month, I'm on my way to recovering from the Vegas debacle, and I will hopefully be able to cash in on the Turbo Takedown at month's end.

With any luck, I should be in range of taking shots at 50PLO at month's end or before. I'm going to build slow and do it right this time. Also, any live play I undertake in the next few weeks will be Limit Hold'em, a game I'm much stronger in than NL.
