building a poker table
i am goign to build a poker table before this summer, and i am looking to build a pretty high quality pedestal table, either round or octagon shaped (only like 5-8 of us play and we each deal) now does anyone know where i can get plans to build this or have any tips to offer? also how do i build the padded rail and cupholders and such, just basic information, i have a wide array of woodworking tools at my disposal as well 8)

They sell plans on ebay all the time, though personally I never trust thoseauctions. I'll start looking ofr you, as I'm looking to build a much larger professional table in the near future with my ingenious wood working father int he near future.

I made a Table a few years back. Its octagon with a beefy pedestal, I found my plans at "The woodworker store" Im not sure if its a local store or not but give the search a whirl.

Anyway. Very High quaility. And only $20.
I would love to build an Oval though. For my Leagues "End of Year Invitational"

How much did it cost for the supplies? Also, what tools did you need? I don't have any wood working tools, but my dad & brother-in-law have anything I'd need.
