Buy in and blinds

I am a newbie who has set up a home game for friends. All pretty much beginners. I have been told my buy in/blinds stucture isnt great. At the moment we buy in for £5 and our blinds are 10 & 20p (I'm from the UK obviously!) Is this buy in too low for the blinds?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

In general, a standard buy-in for a cash game in 100 big blinds. 50-75 is OK for beginners, but 5 pounds is only 25 big blinds which is low. So yes you should raise the buy-in, or lower your blinds.
