Buying a cool car with my poker winnings!

Postby General Sal » Tue Apr 27, 2004 2:42 pm GMT

I've been pondering this lately for the last few days. I even put a picture of the Honda Element up on my clipboard. Basically, I was gonna gamble my way to a new vehicle! (Sounds almost as silly as gambling to get out of debt!) We'll test out the big bet per hour theory. I figure that at $12/hour, it'd take about 1300 hours to get to the goal of $16k. If I improve, I might take chances and move up. Hell, I might even put $8K on red once I get there, just to get there a little quicker. Can you imagine? I might get up to $13K, then suddenly go on a bad streak that destroys the bankroll... lol

Have you decided to get an Element for sure? They are nice I just personally dont like the look of them. I dont like the boxyness of them and they have to much plastic on the outside.

I am gonna startplaying with the aim of getting a $1,500 BMX this year :P

Please don't get a Honda Element, it looks like it was designed solely with a set square. U need curves man, curves!

Well for now, I'm just looking at the Element... it'll be some time before I actually have the cash put together. I'd rather buy one than pay a monthly note on it.... so, we'll see what i end up doing. It's gonna be a grind to get the car, but I'm gonna have fun doing it. We'll see... right now I just gotta get the bankroll up to 10K

It has begun. I've begun the quest for my new car. Grinding it out and the limit and no limit tables. So far I got killed by someone with pocket Ks... lost 23 dollars there, but i came back with a win later, so i'm only down $14.

Account value: $80
Goal: $20,000
