calling a 3bet after a semibluff...

Postby Ensano » Sun Aug 10, 2008 9:01 pm GMT

given villian's range and good implied odds (due to comitment) is it worth it to call the 3bet getting better than 4.22:1..

Check raising shorty puts us in bad spots...

I think we have to put him on exactly 88 to even make this interesting.

Calling here saves us nothing, just puts another shitty decision for turn when he pushes 99% of the time.

Stack too small, and I hate c/r bluffing here. Why not just bet out?

You're most likely up against a set or overpair (more likely). I would call a small bet, but not much room to maneuver, with the stack sizes.

I think the range u assigned is a bit tighter than his actual range, but it wouldn't be far off.

What am I missing from this range? Broadway cards (AK, AQ, KQ?) maybe? I can't see those hands (2 overs) 3bet the flop. Even with AK, AQ, KQ H is still a pretty big dog on the flop, but H is ahead on the turn.
