Cash Game - Starting Hands/Style
Hi,
Just wanted to know if this a decent strategy for intermediate (been playing off and on 4 years) player. I've been having some ups and downs at my weekly game and doing a bit better online.
Usually for starting hands I play any pair, AK/AQ/AJ, A/anything suited and suited connectors while in late position. Early position slightly tighter... I''ll usually bet 4 times the big blind when I think I'm ahead (pair) and call up to about that with the suited connectors or A/suited card to try and catch some big pots.
Any strategies or ideas? Lately not doing too great a the weekly game, seems like I might be playing a bit too tight. I always figured it is better to play tighter in a cash game?
Thanks, hopefully this is legible.

Re: Cash Game - Starting Hands/Style
I agree in a tourney i always play looser and more aggressive . In a ring game I play tight and more passive. Works for me I should probably play tourneys the same way I lose at tourneys more then I win. Ring games I usually make profit sometimes small profit but rarely do I leave a ring game with less then I bought in . It is just the damn blinds raising in tourneys that forces me to play more hands can't be as patient.
