Checking pf & then hitting two pair on the flop with lim
Well, all my new found advice worked well tonight. When my M dropped to around 7 I started finding the tight players and pushing all-in. I got my M up to around 9 or 10 and then the blinds went up and I did it all again. Not once did I get called.
One interesting thing I noticed was; when we got down to the last 25 players, the 5 small stacks (which at one point included myself) were all sat on my table.
However as per usual, just when things are starting to look up, this happens;
alartist has been limping calling raises all game. There is no rhyme not reason to his play. atilla nl has only just sat at the table.
If that ace didn't turn up on the river I would of jumped to second place in the overall tourney with 16 players left.
Advice on the hand please??? Is this just a bad beat or did I play the hand wrong?

I don't see anything wrong with that hand, it's just a cooler.
If you were deeper stacked, with two limpers in front you would be looking to make it > 1,000 to go but with your stack as it is, you either check or shove here, and shoving is bad.

I think you are right, however I had two concerns;xDiamond_CutteRx wrote:Jimmer, you know the answer to your question already.
1. I was just a little concerned that I let two players from early position see a cheap flop.
2. That with the stack sizes the way they were (especially alartist's) that I should of simply pushed all-in on the flop and not check-raised.
I can see now that I no matter what i did preflop or on the flop I was gonna get two callers, but at the time?????
Thanks for the replies

I don't think there's a problem with me posting my hands. I've only been playing sng's for a few weeks and haven't hit the money yet.miaowmiaowchowface wrote:yes plz stop poasting these
I'm clearly doing something wrong and I am trying to identify what.
I was confident i played the hand well, but I'm open-minded enough to realise I could be wrong.
