Chip count

Postby azygos2 » Wed Mar 10, 2004 4:33 pm GMT

i just got a 500 set of 11.5 deluxe diamond chips with 150 whites, 100 red, 100 blue, 100 green, 50 black. I play tournament style hold'em at my home with 6 people total. What should be the chip value and what should be the quantities per person?

Thanks alot!

We start blinds at 1,2 and raise after every 10 hands

Play around a little bit to see what works best. Maybe start with:

25 White= 1
15 Red= 5
10 blue= 10
10 green= either 15,20, or 25

Black= 50, or 100 and use these for coloring up as the game goes on

I have a 600 chip set with 225 white 150 red 150 green and 75 black

white's are 1
reds are 5
greens are 25
and blacks are 100

this works very well for us, and with that set i've had 11 people playing with no chip problems.
