Chip Denomination

Postby Guest » Mon Apr 19, 2004 10:38 pm GMT

Hi Guys! I know this probably has been covered before but I was looking into getting 1000 Chips for my home game. I plan on getting a set of custom chipco chips with denominations. I would like to be able to use the chips for both nh tourny and real money buy in games. Right now I usually play with about 6 - 10 players and usually do a $40 buy in for our real money games. I would like to get 1, 5, 25 and 100 printed on the chips without the $ signs. I would like to be able to use this set as our games grow. I also plan on using the standard white, red, green and black colors for the chips. My question is what quantities should I get of each denomination? I would like this set of chips to grow with the size of my games. Thanks in advance.

Our buy ins for our real money games are .25/.50 and .50/$1

for 6-10 players a thousand chips is probably more than you need. Ive played 10 players with 500 chips and it works fine.

Always Bored,

Thanks for your post! I figured I would get 1000 chips now since I was getting them custom made. I agree that 500 chips will be enough for my current games but I plan on having some larger tourneys in the future.
