Chipco Experience
I ended up purchasing the Crystal Oyster Casino chip from Chipco and received them today! I wanted to let everyone know that Chipco has excellent customer service and this chip set is awesome! I ordered on Friday at 10:00 CST, they shipped that day arriving here today (Wednesday).
I purchased 500 chips, 200-green ($25), 250-black ($100), 50-purple ($500). The only negative is they shipped the chips in a chip trays. The chips were jammed in the trays like sardines! I had to turn the trays upside down to get them out. I ended up cracking two of the five trays in doing this.
I wrote Chipco to tell them I was extremely happy with my experience and mentioned the chip trays. The are shipping me two chips racks this time to fix the problem! All in all, a class place to do business with!
I researched chips for a solid four months talking to many of you here on this forum. I’d like to thank AshVID for turning me onto the Crystal Oyster chip! 8)

Nice, i've been looking at those same chips myself. Its amazing, Chipco sells them for $0.70 a chip... if you look on ebay they go for over $1 !!!!!
So, im just going to order 3000 of em, then sell of 2000 of em and pretty much get my set for free. lol

Actually I just got some for a friend of mine off eBay for slightly cheaper than the Chipco price ($30 cheaper for a 1000 chips). He had the same idea, to sell some of them on eBay to offset the costs. I think the jury is out though. If he wants to sell some I will come here to unload them first. I think he only needs 650 and he bought 1000 so he will have a set of 350 to get rid of....

well, if he doesnt sell them on ebay let me know how many of what denom's he's got. I should have the funds soon (tax return) to pick up some.
Ideally i'd like to have a set of 500-600 crystal oyster chips for a 10 seat tourney.
