This guy keeps making final tables... he's supposed to be good?

I don't think I've ever seen him do anything outstanding. He seems to think the hallmark of "good play" is making big laydowns, and most of them have been incorrect.

And what the hell was with his completely out of line comment to Jennifer Harman and her allegedly "horrible play" (she had him beat the whole way) last week on the PPT?

Anyone know anything about this guy to suggest he's more than an ABC-Poker luckbox?

"Yeah baby!"

Scotty should sue him for defamation of character.

I don't know why, but this guy really bugs me, and I still can't figure out how he finished runner up twice in a row on PPT... is there something I'm not seeing? The only way I ever see him get chips is when he flops a huge hand, and is lucky enough that someone else hit a slightly worse hand. Virtually EVERY single marginal situation he's been in, I've seen him play poorly.

I agree with you diamond ... I remember seeing him on an old WPT event, season 1 or 2 where he was at a table with esfandiari and helmuth and I think he did pretty well there too.

The bigger question is, how did he get invited to the PPT when he really hasnt won anything major.

I was on his table on wpt paris, and he played relatively loose.....but it was first few levels, he accumulated only from big hands too like KK vs QQ on raggedy board. He busted out with like AQ vs KK or something too.

Dont rate him highly tbh.
