Custom chips

Postby GoToLeep » Mon Jun 28, 2004 6:11 pm GMT

I want HIGH quality custom casino style chips. What is my best source. I just spent 6300.00 on a table for my home and I want chips that I want and they have to be casino quality.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Give the chipstore.com or homepokerchips.com a try. They are both resellers for Chipco.

Chips

I would also consider http://www.nevadajacks.net for real clay chips.
They have two nice designs.

That must be one of the new veridical tables. I've heard of them. There is a tiny unseen spay nozzle at each seat position. It comes with a remote that when triggered spays an odorless aerosol mixture of truth serum into the players face.

If you had bought the $8,000 table it alternates between truth-serum and rufies. So your opponents wake up with empty wallets, sore asses and cloudy memories.

I know I would have splurged for the big guns.

6 gees on a table! Me, I'd be working out how many games, how many hours, and what stakes it takes to have my game pay for that table.
But since you have that kind of scratch... Hell, if you are anywhere near a casino just go in and buy their chips. Then you play all the chips for face value. If someone pockets one, no sweat, he paid face. Every year or so you go in a cash them in for newer ones. Meanwhile you have no NET investment in chips and your friends are using the real deal. Otherwise, I'm with the guy who says go to Nevada Jacks and design your own, clay-style chip (don't think you'll like the feel of the ceramics, but they DO look cool).

Of course I like retired casino chips. I think that's as classy a way to go as you can get. I mean, you are playing with true collectors' items--how cool is that?

or shoud I say KGB. Yes, I don't splurge on much, but I thought I would on the poker goods. I am looking at Homepokerchips.com. I will ckeck out nevedajacks also.

So the vote is clay....not ceramic.. mindgame?

Anybody with ideas, please let me know.

BTW Supa-t....the 8g table is on back order for 2 years...didn't want to wait that long..but thanks for the advice..humor.

Thanks for everyone's input.

While there is something to be said for a big stack of new Hard Rock 100 spots, if I were you I'd definitely design my own chips. Casino chips would be cool, but you've already got a 6k table! Why would you want people to think of another casino while they play on YOUR table. You've practically bought your own small country in 35sq feet and you're the King. Make people afraid. Make 'em believe. Make 'em pledge allegience while they sit on your felt and pay their taxes.

It's much easier with the rufies, but can be done with a 6K table, custom chips and full house.
