Deposit problems
Recently, I signed up at UltimateBet.com, where I have been playing poker with play chips. I have done well, winning a few sit-and-go tournaments, and have wanted to start playing with real money. However, I have tried both a VISA and a MasterCard, but neither work. :x It turns out that my bank has adopted a policy against gambling-related purchases. Any suggestions on how I can deposit money any other way?

virtually all credit cards are going to deny you when trying to use them on the online casinos. to be honest, i think it's a bit of false advertisement that they "suggest" you can use a CC. you basically can't. i tried every single one of my CC's a few months back and each one got shot down. CC's simply don't allow that kind of transaction anymore.
you're best working option is going to be to link a bank account. my suggestion would be to open a free account, have the bank remove any sort of "over draft protection", transfer in only the ammount you want to play with at any particular online casino and then make your transfer that way. keep this "special" account for this type of online transaction. removing the overdraft and only ever having in there what you plan to transfer to the casino should keep you pretty safe from any sort of online fraud. without overdraft protection, one cant pull out what isn't there... they'd simply get an "insufficiant funds" response when they tried.

I use neteller
I use neteller. I am rather new at this stuff. I funded the account from my checking account. IT takes about 4-5 days (using the free method) until neteller releases the money to your account. After that it is off to whichever site you are interested in. Electronic fund transfers are free through neteller both ways. Just have to be patient but at no cost. :D

The legality of online gambling is still kind of gray in the US. I gather you can use a CC normally should you happen to live in another country.
