Do you multi table?
For those of you that play online cash games. Are you usually running multiple tables?
I'm wondering because it seems kind of robotic to not be giving all your attention to one game. I am afraid I would play worse.

You most certainly do play "worse". People who do multi table realize they can make say 15BB/hour on one table or 5BB/hour per table playing 5. Obviously they make more money playing 5 even though they make less per table.
Poker tracker helps you keep track of some stuff and you play ABC Poker.

i find 3 - 4 tables is my optimum amount, i find i do make small scarifies but still can make notes and observe players. I mostly multitable to avoid boredom, if i play one table i find myself looking up marginal hands just to do something.

You might want to see another recent thread How in the World Can You Multi-Table. I started this when I inadvertently found myself multi-tabling. I'm still in therapy from the experience.
I only play one table because my main goal with poker is not necessarily to make money but to do something really, really well. While I have been good, sometimes very good, at many things in my life I've never been at championship level at anything. Poker is something I could play at championship level. Being 54 with a middle-age spread and tennis elbow is not an impediment. I don't know if I ever will play at championship level, but I don't mind undertaking the journey.
Because of that, I only play one table because I think that focus on the play and players is a hugely important part of this process. I do get bored with strings of bad cards as others have written, but then maintaining focus in the face of boredom is also something to practice. I don't use poker tracker. (I do use the player notes feature but what I find myself recording are the things that I find myself naturally remembering about a player at a live table.)
So I voted "Never" on this.

I always play four tables if I'm playing NLH, PLO, or Limit Hold'em--less than that and I get impatient, more and I lose focus. I usually only play one or two if I'm playing Stud or mixed games, just because I feel it's that important to pay close attention.

I always thought the way you kept score in poker was in $$$$$. If I make more money multitabling, aren't I playing worse by making less money by choosing to do otherwise?

I guess everyone plays for their own reason. But as my wife is fond of pointing out my hourly rate from poker playing is only slightly higher than my hourly rate from digesting dinner. And I have a job that would need a lot of poker playing (and winning) to replace. So my poker playing is recreational and I have my own goals. No implication that anyone else's goals are bad. But I know what I want to do.
I'd ask one question (of everyone who multi-tables, not just supa): Is there some level of stakes or tournament buy-in/payout where you would give this game your undivided attention? If so, are you prepared to come to that game ready to play it the way it should be played and to shed whatever undesirable habits you have developed from multitabling?
I enjoy myself and that is my goal.

A live game I had 30-50 buyins for, maybe. I'd drink though.

16 tables.
There are thing you can do to make it easier.
Play the tables stacked to minimize mouse movements.
use auto hot keys to automate stuff.
YOu can't just jump into 16+ tables you have to build up.

I try to play min 6 tables, if I could get up to 10 that'd be sweet. I play on a 22" monitor, so I can easily tile 6 so I can see them all. I like to have 4 cash games and a few MTTs, but sometimes that screws me up, so I'm probably going to start layering as many cash tables as I can handle.
