I know a handful of pro Magic the Gathering players, they are all hopeless gamers. They do remind me of poker players in lifestyle (sit in front of a computer all day, drink/smoke dope/do nothing the rest of the time).

Lots of pro MTGers make as much money from Magic as they do from dicking around with online poker.

It's funny that I'd never seen these guys before. I went to visit my brother in Seattle and at the Mealle they had a gathering spot at some "game store"... the kind that says all sorts of different games. There was a gathering, and yes these guys look like they never did/will get laid.
