dominating home games
Hi guys ,I have another home game question ,We have a points league going on thats leading to a top 4 final table and i'm currently leading ,But only due to loose play and other players splitting pots ,10 points for 1st ,5 points for 2nd ,3points for 3rd ,We have about 9 players and we are all really different players ,A couple of the guys are too loose and easy beats ,And a few others get tired around midnight which really pisses me off ,Cos i will play as long as it takes ,What can i do to beat these guys ,I know 2 players who are super tight and only play monsters so are easy ,i will fold on them if i have a shit hand , Whats the key to home game domination ,If there is one,I'm Loose aggressive ,Please help ,Should i change my own game to compensate for the others ,Maybe my prob is playing too many hands and paying too see turns ,I have Chasing issues and please tell me how to stop,I waste most of my chips chasing and bluffing , Should i quit poker or learn more ,I feel like i am missing out if i fold a hand ,and i know the winning pots are small but i just wanna win , Someone tell me straight up ,What should do

for the chasing issue, keep repeating to yourself, "Flop it or forget it."
It worked for me.
It worked for me.

Re: dominating home games
You seem to have a good feel for the others at this home game so just make small adjustments for whom you’re up against. Pre flop you need to play loose against the tight players and tight against the loose players. Post flop is made easier because against the loose players you may now have something worthwhile continuing with, against the tight players you know they have something if they are continuing and you can adjust accordingly. Because both loose and tight players may be in the same hand, position should play a more important roll in your decision making, look to act in later positions mostly, information is the key to your success.
