Overall, it wouldn't surprise me at all if 90% of players are losing players, most just tend to not accept/realise that and a lot just play because it is fun and are not trying to make money.
I do it for fun . I have no dreams of "going pro" though one day I may enter a wsop tourney just to see how far I make it and to maybe get a chance to sit at a table with Doyle.Though if I lost more then I won I wouldn't play . Losing money is not fun for me. From the time I started playing poker I have continuously worked to improve my game. When I started I lost about 80% of the time . Which was better then i expected . As the years go by and the more hands I play the better I get.
I may lose 20 times in a row yet my losses are less then my winnings. If you look at poker as a per game/session thing then most of us lose more then we win. I look at it in a dollar amount if I lose 100 dollars today but win 110 tomorrow I am up 10 So I am winning.
