Drawing (Almost) Dead Preflop
I never realized you could be this far behind preflop. I was in a Stars FPP satellite to the Sunday Million and had been doing OK through half the field but took two moderate hits that brought me below the chip average in the 5th round (c. 2,000 chips). I get K-Q offsuit in the big blind when the cutoff AND the button both go all in. I had seen each of these guys go all in previous with REALLY marginal hands, I needed to get something done, so I decided to call. (Whether I should have called or not isn't the point of the post.)
Anyway, they turn over K-K and Q-Q. My only options were a flush to my king or a king high straight and the flop took care of both of those options.
The guy with Q-Q turned his set to take a huge pot.
Anyway, is it possible to be drawing ANY deader before the flop to 3-way action? Alternatively, what is the WORST position you could be in preflop (let's limit to 3-way action)?
The worst I can think of preflop is you and villain #1 share pocket nines while villain #3 has pocket tens that match your suits.
