Durrrrr HU challenge
Sure he seems like one arrogant sick puppy, but at least he is willing to back it off with some real $$

I meant to post on here when this started a few days ago. Here is the link to the current stats with Antonius

The way I see it, this is an awful bet for Durrr. I can't see him having enough of an edge over any pro prepared to accept this challenge to warrant him offering $1.5m bonus to their $500K bonus.
I know the guy is just swinging his dick around with those numbers but still, I don't see him coming out on top of this after he's played Ivey and Benyamin too.
One thing for certain is that Durrr must have A LOT of money

A lot of the edge comes from the fact that it has to be multitabling, which Durr believes he has a significant edge over the entire world doing. It's very likely true, but whether that edge justifies the risk is very hard to predict.

From what I read around this is a win win situation to Dawn as there is a good chance he'll get some sponsorship deal from all of this.
Though I have no idea how big is his roll, I know $1m weekly swings is pretty common to people in his level.

I would believe durrrr is better than 50% to win this match. I don't think he's the 75% favorite that would justify the odds he's laying, but it's probably the best way he can get action/notoriety, so maybe that's worth giving up a bit of an edge.

I figured he was already sponsored but maybe not. To me he's already huge in the poker world but I guess he's not exactly a 'poker celebrity' yet.
Socially he's still kinda awkward so he'll never be a top TV pro but he's great for the game.

He made poker after dark, cash game, fwiw
if you listen to one of the clips anotonious says he was worried about having to make a couple hard decisions at all tables at once but it hasnt been that way..yet.

The hand where Esfandiari checks aces behind on the turn and river, all the while with a look on his face like he's on Fear Factor and has to eat a plate of pig testicles, I think shows the effect that Dwan's style is having on some of these pros.

I'd imagine he's fairly horrible but we'll find out this WSOP I guess!
As someone reported the other day in relation to Phil Ivey, it must be hard to care in a tourney where the buy-in is normally a couple of big blinds in the cash games you play.

I imagine at a certain level it's more about the bracelet and how much that will help their image/endorsements/sponsorship.

Um, in 2008 he made the final table in the $10k Mixed Event, and came in 8th (just missing a seven-player final table) in the $5,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw with rebuys event.
