Capitalism is nice, but since there is greed it should always be regulated with complete transparency.

Hell, one shouldn't even trust one's closest friends when it comes to money - I certainly don't trust a bunch of suits who has gone numberblind years ago and far too often happens to know eachother too well for the rest of us' good.

And since money is power, yadda yadda yadda go socialism.

I think there’s an interesting connection between points 2 and 3, namely petrodollars.

While the world (not just the US) is desperate for oil the US has the advantage of playing the banker is the big game of monopoly we have going on. Now I know oil is used to manufacture at lot of products and isn’t just a fuel but should another more popular form of energy supersede it there will be a lot of people holding oil buying coupon$ that will want them traded back into their own currency. If that change happens to quickly it could cause a lot of turmoil.
