Correct, if everyone voted, democrats would never lose a national election. Why? because when you ask everyone(not just likely voters) which party do u support, it's always 3 to 2 in favor of the dem's.
I guess religious zealots and greedy people are more motivated then tree huggers.

Swing and a miss, I said which party do u support. Not which party do u belong too.
I usually support Dem's, but I'm not part of the party for instance. Although I do like our Govenator.
Edit: Not to mention those stats are most likely either registered voters or likely voters.

Hard to say, because half the country doesn't vote. But I think you are overestimating the independents. At least as far as national elections go, I think people are far more partisan.
