Appartantly they're done with U.S. players. And the recommendation is to get money off of ePassorte ASAP.

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

F 'em anyway. With eChecks and even most commercial debit cards that work, ePassporte is obsolete anyway.

Yep, got word from Full Tilt. No more ePassporte.

Thanks for the heads up, still had a bit less than $100 in there ... withdrawing it all minus the ridiculous $3 fee. Grr. Oh well.

As you stated, Full Tilt has Echeck (available only to certain players, don't know which players…FT doesn't say,) and I don't use debit cards.

They also have Check2Check (US players can't use;) CashTransfer (requires a minimum $250 deposit;) and
Visa and MasterCard, but none of mine will work. The fees are way too strong anyway.

I want to keep playing Full Tilt, but need a better option than what is available. Echeck is perfect, and I use it in other rooms, quite often, but can't use it at Full Tilt.

Suggestions, anybody? :?

Casey

Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I signed up for FT's check withdrawal program which required me to send in a utility bill + driver's license to them. The eCheck worked instantly with me, so it may have something to do with them having "double checked" who you are.

I can use eCheck and all I ever used was epassporte there.

Thanks to all for their replies. I contacted Full Tilt again, and this was their response:

"Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Unfortunately, Instant eChecks was only offered to a group of randomly
selected players only as it is still in a testing phase.

Rest assured, if the test phase is positive and eChecks is offered to
the general population, you will also get this offer.

In the mean time, you may try Ultra Prepaid.

Ultra Prepaid is a safe and convenient payment processor available to
many of our players. It's quick and easy to deposit funds from your
credit card or bank account to a secure Ultra Prepaid account then
transfer those funds to your Full Tilt Poker account.

For more information on Ultra Prepaid, and to set up your Ultra Prepaid
account, please visit: http://www.ultraprepaid.com/"

This clears it up for me.

I guess the test was a success, as I can now deposit at FT using the'echeck' option. :-D

I have been using my Visa/Check card @ Full Tilt. I made a deposit about a week ago. It went through, but my bank charged me $4.50 for an international transaction.

I have probably done 5-10 deposits in the last year, this was the 1st time I was charged from my bank. Ick.

That's the good thing about echeck. No fee. For now.
