If it is a deep tournament and you are far from the money, then it can be better to isolate the all in, especially if they are weak.
If it is a smaller tourney, near the bubble, or ITM where each place makes more money, then you should be eliminating players. By forcing a caller out, you increase the likelihood that the all in will win.
A great example is A8 all in, A9 calls and 55 moves all in. A9 should fold and now the all in is a coin flip getting 3:1 on his money vs drawing to 3 outs and needing to avoid a set even if he hits an 8.

Not at all what Dave's saying. Read his last response more carefully.
At certain times, it's less advantageous for you to isolate than to call. While Dave's list may not be exhaustive, it's definitely a great starting point.
