Ever Had A Tipton?
I come from central Indiana, and used to play poker in the back rooms of pool halls and bars. The game of choice in that area was 6-card peek, a form of stud whereby by each player gets 2 cards down and 4 cards up, with no community cards. Each round of betting starts with the best hand showing.
In some of those games, 3-pair (all 6 of your cards) beat 3 of a kind. This was called a Tipton, named after the Indiana town in which it originated. The is the only poker game I know of that has a 6-card hand.
Just a little nickel trivia for you poker afficionados out there.
