Mr. Frise, with all due respect, I think you should reconsider your stance.

I just know as soon as I creating a page one of these sites the next big thing will come along and I’d have to migrate all the content.

I’ve got a domain name at the moment and hosting that I can do anything I want with and I still haven’t updated that in years.

I think Facebook is here to stay for a long time. Unlike MySpace where every page is a clusterf*ck of badly arranged content that either gives you an epileptic fit or drives you crazy with embedded music, Facebook has been well thought out and works with little input from the user.

Saying all that, I have no experience of any other such site because I had to be bullied into using Facebook as I also thought that all such sites were gay. I actually find it really useful as much as anything for arranging parties/the football team I run.
