Fallsview Poker room review

Postby maniac_73 » Sun Jan 16, 2005 6:18 pm GMT

As promised I went down to the room at fallsview last night. They were a bit disorganized as I guess would be accepted for a room that's just opened up, they were calling people out of turn on the waiting list.
The tables that were set up last night wer 4/8,5/5 NL, 5/10NL, 6/12,10/20.
We got there at 6, I signed up for the 10/20 there were about 40 people ahead of me, I eventually got on at about 12:30. Do not go on the lower limit tables here as it's tourists who will call and raise everything with nothing! The 10/20 was okay, I was up about 200 by 3am but then they announced that the room closes at 3:30am which was a bummer.
All in all I wasn't that impressed but hopefully they improve the organization as time goes on.

4/8 is the lowest? Ah wait, this is Canadian Dollars isn't it! Still, that is a bit higher than you'd expect, I think they need a 2/4 and 3/6 table.

Make sure to call ahead of time as the wait for the NL tables was 5 hours when I went. If you are staying at the hotel they put your name at the top of the list for any table.
