Final Table
I'd copy and paste the hand details, but my computer took a crap last night and I had to send it back to Toshiba.. Long Story...
Anyways, the question I have is regarding a move I made last night.
I was on PS, and I was playing the $30 buy-in 27 person SnG.
I was at the final table and we were 7-handed. The top 5 get paid. The average stack is about 5k. The blinds are 200/400 50 Ante. My stack is at 4200.
So, I'm in the BB, and UTG limps (his stack is about 8k). Everyone folds to the button (stack about 5k) and he limps. The SB calls (stack at about 4500). So, the action is to me and I have AJ suited with about 3800 left in chips.
So my question is, would you guys push in this situation? Or check? Sometimes, those UTG limps are suspicious of a premium hand, but I wasn't too sure in this case.
If you have input, please let me know. Sorry for the long post, I'll try to copy and paste the details next time..

A lot of this has to do with how the UTG player plays. Is limping usual for him, or is this suspicious?
Absent outside information, this seems like a very easy push.

Well, I didn't have a read on him because there had only been about 3 hands before this situation arrived.
However, when he did limp, it made me suspicious because during the 3 hands that were played, there was no flop, just preflop raises and tight play.
But I couldn't justify that suspicious feeling enough to just check and NOT push.
On a side note, I noticed you're from Nor Cal. Small world!

Shoving is pretty standard, sometimes he wakes up with big hand but more often then not he doesnt have the goods.sactokid544 wrote:xDiamond_CutteRx wrote:A lot of this has to do with how the UTG player plays. Is limping usual for him, or is this suspicious?
