First online final table
Well I finally made it to my first online final table at Party. 1064 entrants, $20 buy in, top prize about $4500. Took 5 hours to get to the final table too...man what a grind.
Down to the final three, i had about 260000 and the other two had about 330000 or so. I was big blind and got Kd3d, and the small blind limped. Flop was K5K (don't remember the suits). Small blind bets 80k, I call. Turn was a blank (10 maybe), small blind checks, I check. River was another blank, he checks, I go all in. He calls immediately and shows his 55 (Presto!!!) and I am out in third place with trip Ks to his boat 5's full of K's. Oh well, I won $1700 (and he went on to win the tourny).
I don't think I could have avoided being knocked out here, could I? I certainly had no reason to think my K's weren't good at this point. Any thoughts? I'm pretty happy with the finish actually, and I am sure that the fact that I cashed out $1500 of it will piss off the partypoker gods and i will never win anything there ever again.

Why no reraise after the flop? I think a reraise was in order of at least the size of his bet. This will accomplish 2 things.
1. Win the pot..... If he is bluffing, you take it down
2. Get info.... If you are reraised, you know that you are probably beat. It is hard for me to say what the proper play was not having watched your and you opponents styles in the tournament. I just think that in this particular case, an info raise will speak volumes.
Congrats on making a final table. Very nice playing.
