First time casino visit
Hey all, I'm not 2 new to the forums here. I've been reading them for a while now and just too lazy to actually register. anyways to the point of this post, I am going to the halifax casino the first of May and I thought I'd get some tips. I play alot online and a few times with family and friends and was wondering if there really is that much of a difference between playing cash games at home and at the casino. I am going with 200$ and playing 1/2NL. Any tips/advice is welcome.
Thanks.
Thanks.

$200NL live is about the same as $10 or $25NL online.
If you've never played live it should be interesting. 5-10 BB raises are pretty standard. If you can't get more than $200 I'd buy in for half and pick your spots.

If people are opening for 5-10BB standard, make sure that losing $200 doesn't bother you because although that is a juicy game, there's a good chance it is suckout central and if you can't reload, I'm not sure I'd sit at 1/2NL with only $200.

I've played live a few times. One of the points I was trying to figure out was if I should sit down with 100$ and have 2 buyins or just sit with the max and hope for the best. I have no problem losing the 200$. I would prefer not to though, I am going to win some money. lol. Generally if I'm in a hand where there's big bets or all-ins I win. I'm not the type of player to put my chips in unless i know i have it and i hope i can use that to my advantage. I'm hoping to get a bit more to go with, I'll keep grinding online and hope to add to my casino BR. Thanks for the tips.

If I was you I’d base my table selection on how much I was willing to blow divided by my time. If I was in Vegas for a day I’d play $500NL, if I was there for a week $100NL.
Because that’s all it is, entertainment. If it isn’t you should be selecting a table base on your BR.
