Forums highlightes as new if we havent read every post
Maybe difficult to explain, but on the left most forums are lit up as orange as in new posts. It would be good if this would only be lit when a new thread or post has happened since you last visited that forum. Because basically what you have to do is just look along the right at the dates and post time.
Will elaborate more if needed.

I know what you mean crack - this board has been funky ever since the update. I guess it's a cookies issue but I don't really know shit about that sort of thing. Send Sid a PM about it and he'll sort it I'm sure.

No Jimmer. I don't use that function. I like to view posts by their forum because there are certain forums I have no real interest in. This is what I mean.

I have clearly looked in General Forum many times but yet it still has the highlight for new posts. I am sure before you clicked the forum and that would disappear.
Ok Geno, will do.

Just to clarify, you are interested in a mod that only highlights forums posts that are new since your last log in?

Sort of. You can see in my screenshot that the orange thing is lit up on General forum. When I view General and then go to another site or something and come back, I don't want it to be highlighted if there hasn't been a new post. I think it used to be like this before the update.
Currently it seems like it will be lit up if there are any unread posts in that forum.

I just clicked Mark Threads read, the white link that was at the top. Is that new? I haven't seen that before. Anyway, I think that has worked.
I will see how it goes over the next few days.

I busted some of the admin options while installing a mod for the forum feeds...I'm working on fixing that right now...once that is done, i'll hunt around for new topic labeling...

It looks like just clicking mark forums read has worked for me, Sid.
Only new posts are making the left icons highlight now.
I am going to send you a PM about something else, Sid.
