would you c/c a big bet if you got to the river like this if you had J high? Basically, our hand is equal to J high since villain "should" never bet this river with A high.

dont see why he should never bet with A high, he could think he will push u off a resistant queen or Ahi or something, remember that regs at these stakes don't actually play well and usually don't have a great understanding of the game therefore will do retarded things that dont make sense. So I guess ya i'm advocating a call with A hi

and j hi i suppose... just remember with A high u sometimes only get a split, and J hi sometimes loses

Thinking so much about this hand is such a waste of brain power.


Play more tables, focus on more common situations, make more $'s.

in MrD's case i would say play less tables , rape the limits and winn $$
and not play shitload of tables and grind for rake

Probably true actually. Though the way this hand played out, its does lend to think what we do if we have AQ or AA in this situation... Which in turn make this hand slightly interesting again.
