lasted just over 2 hours in Event 1. I never caught any cards really and the blinds were low so I didn't see any point doing silly stuff. I had 9 9 once and flatted and folded to a c bet on J 3 5 3 way, they got it in QQ vs TJ ,so was beat by both.
I waited very patiently for a good spot to doule up, and after a limper for 240 I moved in for 1700 I think with KQ in the hijack. THe limper instacalled wtih KJ and beat me. C'est la vie.

Just played the heads up and busted round 1

The opponent played well, was pretty relentless, the times i tried to counter it, he'd call me down or reraise etc so was very hard to get anywhere lest i made a hand. I made 2 nhs, AQ on K 4 5 J 10, where he called my big river bet with 8s, and AA where i was beat anyway, I raised it , he called, came out Q Q 4, check cehck, turn 5, he bets i call, river9 , het bets i call. He shows Q 10.

When blidns reached like 100 and he had me like 4-1/5-1 he kept shipping on me, and best i saw in that phase was Q7os, so i resorted to shipping from btn with J-3, he found J10 and took me out.gg me.

gonna play the $322 later though. gl me!

Ftop event 10. busted 1503rd out of 5600 or so.

Kinda bummed tbh, cos I played like 3/4 hours , had 40 min blip in the 2nd hour where I wasnt on the ball. But apart from that I played real patient and disciplined.The situation that killed me were as follows, I had around 13k in the blinds and the button riased, the sb shoved for 8k (bb was 400), I went all in too with QQ and sb had AK. Flop K for a pot which would have put me on 22k total. Kinda cooler sick hand, cos sb was seen to shove 33 and beat kk earlier. Sigh.

I then have 2900 and shoved alot up to 6100 without a call, (2 of the hands I shoved I had QQ and AQ with no caller ) .Then in the sb I find A-Q. and the button riases to 1,500 i shove for 5600 total, and btn has AA. Just amazing isnt it?

So no cash in either ftop tonight, feel pretty hard done by this event just gone tbh.

ftop event 19

Shootout , double stacks.

over 1k runners again, 144 pay. I bust 243rd, eg- came 2nd in the first rd. Pretty annoyed tbh, cos again, I played really disciplined and just let these over agressive morons gift me chips. Here I was openfolding Kx on the button alot of the time cos I know these guys are 3 betting like half the time I open there.

We made heads up 45 mins in, and we were even, he took a bit of a lead, then i retook a good lead 11k to his 4k, and it swung again, slightly in his favor.
When the last hand comes up, I limp K-J on the btn, with bb at 300 and my stack at 7200 , his at 8800. I was mixing up my limps and 720 or so riases. Flop comes out a nothign Q-9-5....he checks , I check. Turn is a lovely 10. He checks, I lead out 400 into the 650. He calls.River another 10. He checks, I lead out 1k, he pushes.

(a few hands ago he'd lead out tiny with 36 on 69A...I called with T9, turn 7, he chked, i chked strangely, river was 6, he chked, I bet small he re raised. and i paid his trips off.)


Anyway, I didnt think for too long, thought it was sick, but decided to call it off on the river neway,citing that most 2 pair hands on turn wouldnt just check call, and i totally didnt give him 55,99,QQ or nething, so just a case of call and hopefully you're good. He showed 10-9os though and i dont make next round.
Stupid cooler hand imo, cos he could overplay J-8 or K10 or something here, sure, I have a beatable hand, but I really felt that i was favorite to win hu.

So thats 3 or 4 ftops played, no cashes, so alot of money down the drain.ugh.

Event 24

$120 Ko mtt.

Pretty brutal tournament. 9000 entrants, 1080 pay, I bust in the 1300's. I mean it was so gruelling keeping patient for like 4 1/2 hours , when the only strong hand you get is QQ. Fortunately I doubled that hand vs 67 all in preflop (nice call buddy)... I blinded down a bit and shoved once with 10 J and beat AK... but finally with bb at 1200 and going up soon to 1600 I shoved in the co with 5-6os , for 10,900 the sb thought for ages and folded (he claimed after KQc) the bb called with A10, and flop 9 10 6, turn 10, out.
Pretty sucky tbh, the few times i shoved I ran into hands. But I only had 2 allins in those 4 1/2 hours, and I think I gave myself the best chance I could to do something again.

Gogie had alot of chips when i busted, so gl sir !

Story of my life - get it all in with the best of it and get sucked out on. Oh well, 222 out of over 9000 isn't too bad.

Well Ftops Main event is over, so FTop's over for me since im out.

I was fortunate enough to get in for $35 on a 6 handed double shootout. I had stayed up for 20 hours to play the 2 ftops, and felt i played well in both today.
The main event I played for 6 hours I think, and have just busted 520th out of 5600 or somethin for $819. But I feel very deflated tbh. I was all in and called for my stack just twice this tournament, both in the last 3 minutes. I had A-9os on the button and shoved 24,900 in (bb 2k), and the sb called with A-8. Q Q 10 6 K chop it up.
Then 2 hands later, last hand before the break, I ship it in from mid position for 24,000 with K Q ....The sb called with Q Q ....and the bb thought for ages before reshoving with A A .
No justice in mtt poker, I was dealt AA twice tonight, and no action, I dont recall ever being above the average stack, and this chump finds AA in that spot.

Shame I didnt do particularly well in any ftop's , but It mtt poker, variance and all that jazz. Out of the 25 events or whatever, I only played 5 I think , and only cashed in the main event.
