Starting playing cash, up to about 5k hands (so not that big a sample but still) and i started off well, consistently worked my way up by about 3 buyins without any big wins just lots of little pots. Then started a down swing which hasn't stopped and im now at -4 buy-in. Both KK+AA are in the red in my pokertracker stats.

Basically, i play well for an hour picking spots and grinding up a stack. Then i pick up a big pair, and cant let it go on the flop. I just cant bring myself to fold AA on an unconnected board which has been re-raised PF, because i cant narrow peoples ranges not to include smaller over pairs but they are always holding sets.

Im still up though supporting my BR from playing multi-table SNG's , so maybe im starting to think i should just stop wasting my time with cash games

This hand is the perfect example, i know i played it horrendously but i just get locked in this "f*ck it i know im beat but cant fold" mindset and just give up and passively call to the river so at least i dont lose all my chips.

Raise more preflop to deny proper set mining odds, especially at this level where they will continue to make the call making you money in the long run.

Bad luck on the flop, too drawy to not want to raise. Turn isn't great IMO.
