Gid (ninetensuited) offering high stakes HU lessons on FTP?!

I never thought he was banned. I wouldn't be upset if he tried to apologize, make amends, and explain himself. But he would have to do a lot to earn back the trust he violated with a lot of people.

It's been months since I last logged in to THP. For some reason today, I browsed the boards and saw this crazy-ass story. Having been acquainted with Gid, naturally I went to his facebook and made a long post reaming him out for being a douche bag thief, and deleted him as a friend. He promptly sent me a PM. Frankly, I feel bad for the guy. He's approaching the bottom of a very slimy hole that is almost impossible to get out of. Gid will always be slimy, the slime of broken trust and thievery never comes off, but maybe one day he can stop digging deeper into the slime hole and stand out for the world to see. I think he wants to be a normal person, and I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

To be very honest with you, I never planned to do that. It just happened. When you gamble for a living for that long and you see money like that another part of your brain just takes over. It is not something i am proud of, and right now i am super happy to say that im not playing poker anymore. I'm working to pay back that money that i took and have talked to the people involved. Im sorry that all that shit happened but its not something i can just go back and changed. Im working on becoming a better person.

it's easy to get swept up in something...
just look at what happened to you pav.. you never really thought you have a problem and thought you had limits... next thing you knew you were doing all kinds of crazy things you never thought you'd be doing...
I know, I know.. the gay bar scene in Toronto is much different than poker...
but an addiction is an addiction.. be it internet gambling or, like in your case, strange men in back alleys...
in the end you got through it and came out a better person...
