Giving Full Tilt a try again..
After a few months playing on Stars, I stuck $100 on FT tonight and thought I'd give it a try again. Won one each $5 and $3 9 man SnG. I hadn't had much luck recently in MTT's, but I thought I'd give the $3.30/6max one a try. Took 1st out of 635. I was right around average stack up until the money bubble. I had a nice run after the bubble (65 or so) and moved into the top 10. Stayed about that position until down to final 20. Then I turned into a complete card rack, and ended up as chip leader at FT (had about 1/3 total chips). Got to heads up with about 1.5mill chips vs 300K. He had a good run and briefly took the lead (AQ<77, JJ<AK). I retook the lead and finally got him AI with KQ vs A8 on an A94 flop. Caught trips on the turn and it was over. Felt good to take down a larger field MTT again - the local live ones only have about 90-130 players.
All told, ended up the night $520 to the good, so I cashed out 300.
I am not really interested in building a big online bankroll at this time. I am mostly just looking for something to do evenings when I am not at the local casinos or some other non-poker activity.
