good chips that can be gotten cheap
I know that a lot of the poker chips that are considered really good can not be gotten cheap. But are there any poker chips that are considered good that can be gotten cheap? I want to get nice chips that are better then my dice chips, but I dont want to shell out too much cash yet.

Actually the Vegas Pro chips that you see all over eBay aren't bad looking chips, it's just that like everything else from China, there can be variations in consistency. If you're hung up on weight, these chips could be a problem though, as they only weigh about 7.5 gr (yes, I know they say 9gr).
Lately there's also been quite a few people who have been getting free sets Nevada Jacks skulls chips from PSO for their play at online sites.
The Nexgens are also a popular low cost set, and you can add labels later to personalize the set even more with a relatively low cash outlay.

Good and cheap? Here's a few tried-and-true from 5StarDeal that fit that bill. . .
6¢ each: The so-called "Faux Clays" (9.5g Deluxe Dice)
10¢ each: The "Sopranos" 10g (10g 2 Color Striped)
I have both and they are much better than any 11.5g steel-slugged "dice" chip. They will hold you over until you make enough money to buy some Chipco/NJ/BC/ASM/Paulson/TR King.
