Good Player without luck

Postby Binman77 » Thu Aug 07, 2008 6:27 am GMT

I am new to this forum, so if I say or do something wrong, please forgive me.

I have been playing for 2-3 years now. I would call myself a decent player, definately not those newbies. However, I keep losing by luck. Ex, got beaten by river quite often.

I played multi-tables ring game in Titan and multi-tables tourny (45 ppl) in Pokerstar.

I am just wondering, are there anyway to stop that from happening. Are there any methods to avoid luck come into play?

TY heaps

If you have been playing consistantly for 2-3 years and still not winning, I hate to sound harsh, but it isnt luck.

Either you are not getting max value on your winners or you are paying off too many losers.

Sure, there is likely one or two bad hands that appear to have the most impact on your session, but there are other holes that are being missed.

Welcome to the forum.

You've come to the right place!

Post some hands (starting a new thread with each one) to give us some examples.

It could just be bad luck, or you could be playing them wrong. Until we see them it's hard to decide.

Given miaow's results there is a real chance he can actually do this.
