It's a shame some of the better MTT players here are more interested in brag posts and dick measuring contests than actual useful stuff.
Grats your better than me at MTT's for all the good it will do me to know that, it's not like I'm learning a damn thing from you.
At least Cisco contributes stuff and doesn't get all bent sideways when someone asks questions or challenges something they read from him. I get better by reading but also by stating my own opinions and being willing to change them if I'm wrong. I get pissy too sometimes but I'd like to think overall I at least try.

lol at aelred, make some good money lately and he's attained an ego. I actually laughed when I read your last post. Btw its norwegian championships on monday onwards at DTD aelred.
And yeah, Aelred doesn't take criticisms very well regarding poker, I think thats been evident on this forum throughout his time here.
Thanks Jauron,I do try to help, as it betters or sharpens my game.

Jauron, Its the simple fact that "most" primarily "cash" game players do not understand tournament strategy and logic, just as I, a "tournament" player do not understand "cash" game logic and strategy. nothing against you or anyone else.

well you know, oftentimes i come 10th or 7th or 23rd in big mtts and moan and groan.. so many times ive come between 10th and 20th in v nice mtts.
so ive won 2 mtts for decent amounts this month. time to be a cocky prick imo. but tbh i not gonna take criticism on the last hand whatsoever... what more do i need to do ffs ? i controlled the hand from start to finish, read him correctly and made a decent call... then i put up with low stake players telling me i shudda folded
alot of the posters on these boards dont seem to think about poker properly at all. they seem to think there are rules that should be followd and if u stray from these then u are playing badly.

i actually fell into a bit of a rut of playing hands that same exact way you did in that HH..... kind of an adjustment i made when i went to 1-2NL and first thing i noticed was that C-bets just didnt cut it anymore.... at all! i had to devise new tricks...
so to counter this i started checking back alot more in these exact spots and then had me calling a (or two) streets with the Ace high (or some middling/bottom pairs/ whatever hands that couldnt really gain value from worse with a flop bet) against some opponents... i definitely needed (and still do i think) some finetuning cause i found myself just getting too carried away with it so much so that it bit me in the ass alot in terms of who i did it against and when etc.
so in saying this i actually like the way you played it... though from my point of view i would call it standard more then a genius soulread really

I started writing this when Alread first post came around but decided not to....
I don't think a lot of us here can comment on Alread, Ciso or Gid's tournament play, as the play on a different level.
In tournament you can't just wait for a better spot. You have to fight for every small pot.
Nice hand dude. wish I could play like this.
