Got my trademark paulsons!!!
I recived my trademark paulsons about 1 week ago.These chips are fantastic,by far and away the best chips ive ever played with or seen.The feel on these things is just perfect,after a few games they wear in nicely and are very very easy to shuffle,stack,do tricks with.As far as quality goes ive dropped a few of them on the concrete on accident and not even a scratch.In the looks area i think they look great,better than the jb style,if your thinking about getting these i highly reccomend getting some samples and im sure u will be sold,great great chips,im getting more.

5star now has a sample set of 7 chips, one of each, for $7.50 using their current discount. But you could just order one of each as samples for $1 each using the same discount. (do the math here
)

Not to pick on you, that's really not my intent, but what is it with these picture requests for commonly available chips that already have pictures all over the web? There are pictures of these chips at http://www.5stardeal.com/deals/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=10-PA-SAMPLE , and if you click on the pictures of the chip it will bring up a larger 250 pixel sized picture of the chip in greater detail.

That's what I thought when I saw the chips too. I'm not sure it's Trademark's pictures that are horrible but rather the subject of the pictures.
Hey, while I got you here, there's a post on here from some guy looking for the drink/food tables, maybe you could help him out with your source?

Pocket,
Not sure if you have seen the new Trademarks in person but the pictures on Tradmarks site are just plain aweful. They hardly do the chips justice....I ended up buyin a few of the new chips for my cash games. They are very nice chips for the price and I am happy with them. Here are a couple pics I took.
FYI, I hooked homeboy up on the drink carts as well

Yeah, I saw, handled, fondled the Trademarks about a week and a half ago. Personally I didn't like them, but that's my opinion of them. It just seemed to be too much of a departure from Paulson's normal use of that mold and the lack of the incused grand inlay (they did use it in the JB chips) makes it look real odd to me, almost as if it were unfinished or if someone skipped a step. Insofar as the chip quality in terms of composition, there's nothing wrong with it, it just looked and felt a little odd to me.
Yeah, I agree that the Trademark photos, even the ones in the pop-up screen is not up to their usual quality. On a lot of their chips they put up 314 DPI images that you can often use for mockups. Their Paulson pics do leave a little to be desired, though they do accurately depict the chip.
Love your carts, they look a lot nicer than the ones in our local cardrooms (and you'll see one of those cardrooms on next Wednesday's WPT show).

Not specifically the Trademark version, but you can get a sample pack of each denomination of the James Bond version of these chips (which I think look better) from http://poker.marlowcasinochips.com/paulsonisthmus.htm for £6.

There's a little more surface to surface contact with the Trademark chips than with the James Bonds since they do not have the recessed area, however the recessed area on the James Bonds is about the same as the incused area that Paulson has used on the house mold chips that they make for casinos, and of course those seem to have worked well for several decades now.
With regards to the difference from your current chips ... yes, there will be a significant difference. The phrase 'difference between night and day' comes to mind here
. Depending upon what you like esthetically, I don't think you'll be disappointed with either version.
