Great Pot odds

Postby vai777 » Fri Jul 15, 2005 9:24 am GMT

If your sitting at a table of 9 and there seem to be alot of family pots
how many people would see cheap flops in the small blind with Q4 K2 J5 A8 ECT... not monster hands but hoping to catch a good flop.

blinds are low relative to chip stacks.

Your getting great pot odds but what are the odds you will flop your hand without having someone else helped out in the process.

Im asking because I ended up seeing way more flops than I usually do because of the pot odds the other night. Calling in the small blind and calling even in late position with Q7 K7 A4...

Im ussually tight but figured id try another strategy I finsihed 4th. not great out of 9 players.

Wonder what some others would do faced with great pot odds all night.

4th isn't bad if they're paying top 3.
